Saturday mornings are my favorite time of the week. I start them off by waking up early, going for a run solo, and then sitting down for an hour or so to plan the day’s HIIT workout at The Athletic Clubs. I think most people are surprised when they find that the workout itself isn’t what excites me the most about this class. What excites me the most is knowing that I get to polish off my Saturday morning spending time with people who have changed my life in more ways than they know. They’ve seen me cry, laugh, stressed out, all of it. They aren’t “my class.” They are my F R I E N D S. As I sit here thinking about where I am in life right now, I realize more and more how fortunate I am to have crossed paths with these incredibly inspiring people, and how excited I am to continue to grow up with them.
Our main mission at Jolly Bodies isn’t to sell you on a particular workout or diet fad. Our mission is to get to know YOU through exercise, nutrition, and emotional support. The weight loss isn’t our main focus-it’s the byproduct of our main focus-which is YOU. Losing fat doesn’t have to be miserable. Eating healthier doesn’t have to be miserable. Burpees don’t have to be miserable. Wait. Well, maybe they don’t have to be awful. No, they’re pretty awful. Eh, do them anyway. Point is, we care about how you feel on the inside WAY more than how fast you can run a mile or how many pounds you dropped. You are awesome. Oh also class starts at 8:45 this morning. You’re welcome anytime. I’m pretty sure that’s what I had intended to be the point of this entire post, but I couldn’t help being inspired.
